Description
Michter’s Toasted Barrel Bourbon is made by aging Michter’s US-1 bourbon in barrels made of wood that has been air-dried for 18 months. The barrels are toasted over an open flame of their own wood for one hour.
The bourbon is aged for 26 days in the barrels. The mashbill is 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% malted barley. It is produced by Michter’s Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky
Michter’s US-1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon was first introduced in 2014.
